Emily Ratajkowski’s not afraid to take the plunge.
In a new Harper’s Bazaar video, the model and “My Body” author looked back at what she called “probably the most controversial dress [she’s] ever worn” — a deeply plunging cutout number by Julien Macdonald, which she chose for the 2016 Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party.
“I had no idea what a scene this would cause,” Ratajkowski, 31, recalled of the revealing gown.
“Somebody called it ‘extremely vulgar’ and it became this huge controversy on the internet. And some of my agents were mad at me because they thought it was too sexy.”
At the time, the “Blurred Lines” beauty didn’t understand what all the fuss was about.
“I was in my 20s and just, like, hadn’t registered that it was so sexy, because there is a panel in the middle, but it looks like there isn’t,” Ratajkowski continued.
