Former Bond girl Eva Green,who bared all in her 2003 debut film ‘The Dreamers’,doesn’t understand why nude scenes in movies attract so much attention.
The 30-year-old beauty has no inhibitions about stripping in her movies but feels awkward later because of people’s perceptions,reported Femalefirst.
“When I did ‘The Dreamers’,I was not aware when I was filming it that all the questions from journalists afterwards would only be about the nudity. I was asked all these questions about the sex scenes. I don’t know why people make such a fuss. Sometimes I feel like I’m a porn actress,” Green said.
The actress’ roles so far have included a witch queen in ‘The Golden Compass’,a murderous lesbian teacher in ‘Cracks’ and a schizophrenic in ‘Franklyn’ and Green says she loves playing “evil” characters who have secrets.
“I’m drawn to those who are evil but damaged. It’s fun to play evil. I like characters that have secrets. It’s nice not to know it all. Complex is interesting,” she said.
However,the French beauty would love to do something more light-hearted.
“I’d like to play a silly role,like comedy,like something in Catherine Tate’s show,” Green said.
